For video calls/conferencing you normally connect direct to the far end IP no carrier required, probably why few support it :)

Is this the case for the Polycom VVX 1500 SIP phones?

I believe they have PABX integration built in, but I would imagine video calls work as described :)

Usually for a SIP video call we need 6 RTP streaming ( Audio, Video and Camera control for both ways) .. Couldn't find a sip provider that support Video codecs ..

When we install the big polycom video conf units we simply connect direct to the IP and you get audio, video and camera control etc no carrier involved, perhaps they are different :)

Yes I agree; however, for E164 peer to peer dialings, calls between phones will go over SIP trunk ..This is why polycom came up with VVX 1500 series.
The scenario you are referring to is more like the Telepresence products from Cisco ( ie C40 or Ex90 series...etc)I think :)
