We have a Cisco Cube connected through SIP on our Session Manager.
When we have SIP Phones the DTMF to Cisco is not working. With H.323 it is working.
We can see from the SIP messages that SIP phones send RTP Payload 120 and the Cisco is expecting 101.
With H.323 the negotiation is working correctly.
We have SIP Flare devices so we can't tune the Payload type with the settings file.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

It is rtp-payload..

Tried also with out-of-band and sip-info and have the same issue.

these parameters affect

Ch Sig XX and ch ip-network-region XX
direct IP IP Audio connections (y) (n)
IP audio hairpining (y) (n)

try them!

We had tried them, but no luck.
We have made a change to the Cisco Cube:
Voice service voip
Sip
Asymmetric Payload dtmf

After this the Cisco is able to negotiate the payload and it works.

The RFC2833 RTP-payload type for SIP phones is set through the 46xxsetting.txt file.

SET DTMF_PAYLOAD_TYPE 101

Indead, only the Flare client and the client on iPhone can't be set through the settings file.
