SIP registration on wrong LAN 2

Have an IP Office 500 v2 running 8.1. Trying to hook up some SIP trunks and I've got everything set up like the provider (Megapath) manual said. Working with Megapath, they said there is no registration request being sent out. Opened the system monitor and I see there are registration attempts every couple of seconds, but it looks like they are trying to go out on the IP of LAN1 instead of LAN2. I have network topology set to LAN2 on the SIP Line-->Transport tab. Is there anywhere else I need to set that to make sure it is going out on the correct port?

check your IP routes as they can determine where your connection goes out as well

I highly recommend you employ a qualified IP Office engineer with experience with SIP and networking to configure this up for you. I shudder to think if this IPO is exposed to the internet or not.

Set the network topology in the SIP trunk to none and create a ip route with the ip address of the provider mask 255.255.255.255 and the ip address of the gateway in LAN2 and set the destination to LAN2.

Hairless, it's not directly to the internet. Megapath has a VPN router between the Avaya and out. That should be decent security. Hopefully

Westi and Intrigrant, I'm guessing having both the LAN1 and LAN2 on the same IP scheme/subnet would cause issues with the IP routes as well if I have to set one. They are both on a 10.2.1.x 255.255.254.0 scheme. It was something that got set up quickly when they put the Edgemarc (the Megapath router) in and probably not enough communication in set up. The LAN1 goes to our network. The LAN2 goes to the Edgemarc and then out... We could easily swap that to a 192.168 since it's only 2 addresses on that side of the network.

Will get to play with it a little more Wednesday when I am out there again.
