Hey guys. I'm looking to add prefixes to one of our PBX's for redialing through call history. Usually on the POTS line on IPO, we would just put "91" (9 being the access code to dial outwards) and call it a day. However, under SIP lines, there are three different prefixes ("Prefix", "National Prefix", and "International Prefix". I'm trying to find out what Avaya defines for the 3 values but under the f1 help menu, it doesn't display anything. If I go under an analog trunk and bring up the help menu, it gives me a definition of prefix but it is a bit ambiguous under SIP.

I am going to assume the settings should be as the following:

Prefix - "9"
National Prefix - "91"
International Prefix - "9011"

It would be great if anyone could provide Avaya's definitions under SIP prefixes.

After some digging, I was able to find some definitions from the help menu for SIP prefixes

However, the definition under analog lines for prefixes is somewhat different. I wonder if functionality is the same. If anything, I'd have to do a live test to confirm...

Found an older thread where it states SIP prefix/analog prefix/PRI prefix is used in the same way so I'm going to assume that what I have in the first post is correct
