SIP phones contacts issue 1

Hi Dears,

I have 9641 SIP phones registered to SM the issue is I can't see the contacts on the SIP phones only while it appear on other H.323 phones, note that the contacts are available on SMGR. Is there any way to solve this issue??

So you mean that the only way to show contacts on SIP phones is to add them manually to each SIP user through user page on SMGR. ( that is really bad )..
What If the contacts are found on Active Directory and the AD is synced with SMGR? is this scenario could help us here?
 
You might be able to have a partner with access to ProVision add the contacts.

SMGR isn't an LDAP per-se in that you can't just search it.

Aura Device Services does though. But AADS I believe is only supported on IX clients/Vantage.

So, if you had AADS, you could have IX on the desktop, they could add the contacts there, and the contacts are shared across your devices - so contacts are consistent across all your SIP phones.

I have AADS and Hard SIP phones (9641) so for SIP phones what the available way to view contacts on it.
 
I don't think 9600s support AADS
IX Workplace thru AADS could lookup people in AD and add them as contacts which would appear on the 9600s
 
The 96x1 7.1.10 firmware which was released at the end of June added support for searching LDAP directories.
 
Dears,

The issue solved, There was a problem with http server so the phone can't take configuration file, after solving http issue the contacts works normally
