We have the Valcomm paging system in our warehouse installed and works properly. I need to have a phone ring through the speakers when it is dialed. This is for an Axis door phone/video camera system. So when a delivery driver, etc ring the back door, I have it going to a SIP phone in the warehouse where they can press a sequence of buttons to open the door. The warehouse is big and the phone cannot be heard in all spots. So I have been tasked with ringing the phone through the paging system.

I tried to create an analog extension that is "X" ported and going to a coverage path that directs to a VDN/vector that dials my paging code. That doesn't work.

What is the best way to get this accomplished as per their request?

This is a forum for the Avaya IP Office product - is that what you have?

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Sorry no. I have Aura/CM and have posted on that forum.

Get an Algo 8120 SIP Paging/Alerter. Make it an extension number, and in the IP Office world you would twin it to the warehouse phone, or put it in a group with the warehouse phone.

[thumbsup2] Thanks TTT. I have an Algo SIP Audio Alerter doc on my desk now.
