can the following Avaya PBX supports SIP or H323? If so, is there any hardware or software or licensing required to connect the Avaya to Cisco via a VOIP trunk?
System is based in s8720. ACM is running R013x,00.1.346.0

We have an AVAYA S8720 connected to a CISCO CM 4.0 via IP trunking. We did not need to purchase any additional liscensing or hardware to make this happen and were able to integrate the directories.

Talk to your vendor about upgrading to the latest dot release which should be 3.1.5. You are currently 3.0.1

IP Trunking would be H.323. Your system will need a CLAN and MEDPRO board to support signalling and bearer traffic.
