Hi

We are looking for the replacing of our old 2250 phones. We're testing Netwise SIP operator console. Full IP solution. It works well and has interresting features.

But this SIP solution does not provide any conferencing capabilities.
Our attendants are using a button on 2250 to put different callers into conference. They need this feature.

My question : is there a possibility on CS1000E to create a "conference number" so they can forward the caller to this number ?

thanks

As far as I know, nothing like this has ever existed in the Nortel PBX software.

You will need a conferencing bridge installed in your PBX to get that functionality.

Pronei do you have the name of such conferencing bridge ?
Is it a Nortel product ?

I'm potentially interrested in any solution.

There are two - (M)ICB - Intergrated Conference Bridge - it is a TDM solution, and Nortel Multimedia Conferencing - which is a SIP solution.

Both however will require you to put in an access PIn and possibly a passcode if it is configured.
