Hello,

I have a CM in England and one in Australia connected via a SIP trunk.

Internal calls are fine with no issues.

An external call coming into Australia and being routed to an internal number in UK has one way audio.

The caller to the Australian DDI can hear the UK, but the UK can't hear the person who rang the Aussie DDI number.

All the codecs are correct, or I guess the internal calls wouldn't work.

Traces show no packet loss etc?

Anybody any ideas?

Thanks.

sip alg on the router possibly, is that feature off?

Hello,

Update on this one, I have tracked the problem down to the encryption on the codec.

If this is set to 1-srtp-aescm128-hmac80 then internal ok, external routed to internal one way audio

If set to none no audio problems.

Is this an Avaya issue or network issue, the customer wants encryption turned on for all calls.

Cheers.
