hi guys,
i normally install mitel systems and i'd like to compare the way mitel and cisco deal with licenses.
when registering sip extensions on a mitel controller that will consume one user license per extension. imagine now that i have two sip devices which i register the first as extension 1234 and i try to register the second device using the same extension number. the secon device will register successfully but it will immediately unregister the first one. it is not like the asterisk that will allow you to register two sip devices using the same credentials, of course nothing to do with licenses on an asterisk.
the question is, can i register the same sip extension twice on a call manager and consume only one license?
thanks in advanced, regards,
