I have an Avaya IPO 500 V2 with a combo card running on 11.1.0.0.0 build 237. (2-analog lines in use, 4-1408 digital phones, Avaya D100 SIP Det wireless base and 2 Avaya D160 wireless headsets. Voicemail is disabled for all the extensions.
The issue I’m having is that when one of the cordless(01) phone transfers an outside call to the other cordless phone(02) and if the caller hangs up ( if the person is taking too long to answer due to being busy) before the call is completed on the cordless phone(2). The cordless phone (02) will stay ringing until the call is picked up, but when they pick up no one is connected (due to person hanging up or disconnected) or if you wait long enough there will be dial tone. In other words, the cordless phones are do not detect that the caller has hung up upon transfer to the other cordless phone. Now if the caller does not hang up and they connect to the cordless phone (02) and then the caller or wireless phone user hang up it disconnects properly.
I have Loop Start ICLID as trunk type, Impedance Match automatic, Long CLI line checked, all other options default in the analogue options.
In the SIP DECT Base Tab in the manager I do not see an option like the analogue options tab to change settings or if I’m looking the wrong place.
If somebody could help I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
