I'm new to the Avaya World and IP Office. I'm trying to configure a SIP Trunk to SYN-APPS, SA-ANNOUNCE software. It does not show any INvites on the SA-ANNOUNCE Server. Any help on the configuration would be great.

Thanks

Trial by fire eh? Jumping into SIP trunking, the first thing outta the gate, is going to be a challenge.
Guess we'd have to know how the trunks are setup now, and how your ARS routes or shortcodes are setup to talk to this syn-apps.

Your ARS is slightly wrong. you don't need any of the "@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" at the end of your short code anymore. the IPO will do this for you based on the line group ID you send it out.

also create a URI like */*/* LGID 99

this will allow all numbers to route via your ICR

HSM, you do when the provider has a different IP address then for example a SBC.
When this is the same then you can.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Thanks for the information. The URI setting is within the SIP License? Also, can you clearify the HSM? Also, in the STatus Monitor it is showing "Out of Service"

Thanks again

Sorry, but also, where do I create that URI */*/* LGID 99?
Thanks again

Ok, sounding like a broken down record. You really should know what you are doing already. These forums are a lauch pad for free training. They are a place for like minded professionals to help each other with technical issues.

Your customer is simply going to have a poor experience, hate the IPO, you will hate the IPO and the customer will hate you too.

I recommend two things.

1) Get professionally trained. Many of us here have invested or have been invested into to install this stuff properly
2) Ask a local Avaya Business Partner for some assistance.

Sorry for Asking, I have had several support personal on the phone such as SYN-APPS support for about 2 hours a day for over two weeks. I just installed the IP Office a month ago and had the installer help, but they are limited on how it would interface. I have asked my reseller to get me who I can contact at Avaya for this. That is taking some time from my vendor. So I thought I would try this forum for additional help.

Sorry to have wasted your time.

HSM is right.
It is too hard to tell what to do without actually seeing what is going on.
SIP trunks are complex and 3rd party connections are even harder.
Get someone who knows the IPOffice very well and then you will probably succeed.
