SIP client (isip) MBG & Mitel 1

Hi All,

Has anybody had experience of setting up SIP client (isip) The application is installed on a I phone... We’re trying to get this working through an MBG connected to a 3300 MXE

I have set up an generic Sip user on the Mitel and added the SIP connector on the MBG ...but when I try to run account registration fails on the client

The MGB is working with ok with a Unified Communicator Express SIP Soft phone so I know the MBG and Mitel are connected ok

I have read some stuff online line about connecting through wireless but not MBG

there is a doc on MOL on how to set up

have you enabled the sip connector in the mbg?

I set this up and it just worked

is your MBG in server-gateway mode or server only?

Only have it working on a iTouch.

Hi All,

I now have this working thanks to mitelmatt pointing me at the MOL doc cheers

I'd missed some of the options SIP Device Capabilities Assignment form

My only issue now, is its not working over 3G Mobile Connection on the i phone... but it works over wifi connection

Has any of you had this problem?

Maybe my provider blocks VOIP Traffic on 3G

I tried to use isip but it doesn't support multi task in IOS4.
I prefer to use counter path iphone edition.

I understand that Apple have disabled using VoIP via the 3G-Broadband connection

You could try iSip with Push but that opens up other issues.

I have got isip to work but still have issues diverting to voice mail when the SIP client isn’t running
