Hi all,

we are testing SIP calls between two systems, we have the Route, DCH and NRS build between the two end points

SITE A Phone 2515
SITE B Phone 2025

When ext 2515 calls ext 2025 the system dials and hangs up the call. But then Ext 2025 rings.
When we try it again and hit redial on the 2515 ext we can connect and hear voice on both sides.

if we place a call from ext 2025 to ext 2515 it goes through straight away with no issues.

we are on CS1000E Release 5 Issue 50 J +

What release of CS1000 are you running?

Also, if you go into NRS and go to diagnostics, is there only one path to other side or multiple routes?

Also, did you verify the media perameters are the same on both sides? UDP, payload, port, etc?

ultimately best way to see what's happening is to wireshark it.

Look at your INTERZONE settings in both switch maybe struggling with codec. Also is the patching level that same on both switches, plus any media security settings.

n3ywi its a release 5.5 CS1000E as it says on his post.

Start with the simple stuff above, then move on to the more complex as n3ywi says you may need to sniff it to see if maybe there is any blocking of the media path etc between the two sites
