need help thanks tried everything and caller id doesnt display on the cell p[hone only extension DID

any help thanks

You could try .SS

SS - Pass Through Calling Number
Pass through the Calling Party Number. For example, to provide the incoming ICLID at the far end of a VoIP connection, a short code ? with telephone number .SS should be added to the IP line

okay
so let me see if i understand it correctly

under_system shortcode
code 8N
Feature .SS
Line 17
or
under the sip tab XXXXXXXXXX.SS

Just .SS no XX's in the Feat.

I'm a bit confused about exactly what you're trying to do.

Can you descibe the call senario?

call comes in and rings the desk phone than if no answer it forwards to cell, it only display the caller DID # not the from caller id
like on a pri you could program a shortcode
code 8N
feat NSS
line 0

it will display the caller id on the cell phone

but on SIP it doesnt

Have you tried changing the "Send Caller ID" setting under the SIP line.

That's supposed to do the trick but haven't given it a go yet.
