i have a Cs1000E CoRes rls. 6.0 and planning to connect to cisco router via sip, my sip license has 9 ports.

i created a virtual route, created a virtual members, created a virtual loop, virtual zone, and configure nrs.

there is no pri card, my question do i have to configure a d-channel for this connections.

please help

Yes, you need a DCH .

Meridian, Callpilot, CCM (Symposium) from Germany

Sample that is valid both H323 and SIP Trunk

ADAN DCH 20
CTYP DCIP
DES IP_Trunk
USR ISLD
ISLM 4000
SSRC 1800
OTBF 32
NASA YES
IFC SL1
CNEG 1
RLS ID 7
RCAP ND2 MWI
MBGA YES
H323
OVLR NO
OVLS YES
OVLT 1

important :

ELAN #: 035 DES: SIPL
APPL_IP_ID: 192 .168 .2 .216 : 0000FB00 LYR7: ACTIVE EMPTY APPL ACTIVE

You have to create first an ELAN over 32
Signaling server will connect automatically after setup

i have created an elan 35 as per print outs you sent but still my
d-channel is not established.

what is the problem...

please help

Did you setup Elan as follow :

ADAN ELAN 33
CTYP ELAN
DES ELAN33
N1 512

VSID 033
ELAN 033
SECU YES
INTL 0001
MCNT 9999

NRS setuo is done ?
Gatekeeper is in service ( Element Manager )?

after making changes in the element manager, it says that you have to restart application, after doing so, my d-channel is est now, but still i don't receive a call coming from my provider...

when i check the status of my elan, it does not have an ip,
and says down disable...

the scenario is like this, sip trunk is interface with cisco router 3825, then cisco is connected to nortel via tcp/ip...

my rdb route acod is 76, the provider vendor has assigned the following 02 65352xx up to 02 65353xx...

i assign a zone 5 as virtual zone...

i want to know what routing entries i have to program in the nrs...

please help

The elan must be in establish state
Enter routing entries in NRS

you would have to configure SIP on the NRS fully before you can get calls in or out. SIP URI etc.

if all is setup as per documentation (Network Routing Service
Fundamentals NN43001-130), you should be able to test your dialplan via NRS, if that works and your gateways show up in NRS (your cs1000 system, and the provider) then you would still have to setup your CDP or Nars /bars to use the SIP route.
