I have offered to set up a SIP trunk on an IP500 9.0.100.845. I have set this up exactly the same as another IP500 on the same SIP provider. The only difference is the software on the second system which is 8.1(69).
My issue is that the PAI sent in the invite contains the internal WAN IP rather than the domain ( it should be “spark.co.nz” ). Phone calls work but I cannot send any caller ID other than the registration number. Can anyone tell me how to force the domain into the PAI, or do I need an upgrade?

your firewall setting in System - LAN1 (or2) - Network Topology
depending on which setting you are using the external IP or internal IP is sent

Thanks Westi

Unfortunately none of the Network Topology settings changed the PAI from WAN ip to Domain name.
I'll keep trying

Normally From is used for CLI and PAI is used for billing.

I don't think you issue is the missing domain name, more likely the number in the from header is in the wrong format from what the provider expects.
