SIp and Audiocodes

Hi,

We are trying to get a Gamma sip trunk through an Audiocodes SBC 500L to an IP 500 for increased security, we have forwarded port 5060 to the SBC and I can get a call through to a handset but only one way transmission. We are currently unable to dial out on the SIP trunk through the SBC but im not sure how to configure the SIP trunk on the IP office for connection through the SBC. Do i change the transport on the SIP line to the SBC IP address and are there any other changes I need to make. When I remove it from the SBC the SIP trunk works fine when connected direct to the IP500.

You need to setup the trunk to the SBC IP Address..

There is documentation on Mediant 1000, might be similar programming.

I've only ever used the Mediant 1000 so don't know if the 500 is different.

The SIP scenario is a bit different, I think the SBC is ok its the IP office end not sure of

The IPO SIP should be the easy part as it should just talk to the internal IP of the SBC.
