Have a question on outlook: the originator has no problems with sending/receiving but when attachments are made to the message they are told that they sent the message many times (10-30)

the service is dial up
the ISP is: pngusa.net
OS is windows XP

also there was a similar problem that was noted on
thread605-834531 but no resolution.

There is a big message that is trying to get downloaded that is too big to come in so the server keeps resending all of the other ones each time that message doesn't come through. Get into the folder where the user's emails are held and put, say, half of them in a folder that you make temporarily and have them hit send/receive. Then take a few out of the folder you made and send some more then you will find the one that stops it. Try to send it by itself but if it can't get through delete it.
