Hi,
I have a one ON Demand Sub report created in crystal reports XI that is accessible from infoview.
Right Now, the way it works is, this report contains a detail records when somebody click that links it opens a new report and then people has to export that to excel using excel output from export options and then save it on their desktop.
Is there any way WITHOUT scheduling, when user click that ON-Demand link it opens directly into excel format.

Please let me know, if anybody have any solution.

Thanks

You can do this via an opendocument syntax hyperlink.

Find the white paper be_xi_r2_opendocument.pdf on support.businessobjects.com and read the section on output parameters. There is an output switch for excel.

Hi,
Thanks for reply. I read opendocument paper and it worked fine. One more question how can i implement logon credential along with opendocument.

http://server/crystalreportviewers115/viewrpt.aspx?id=1225456&apsuser=.....&apspassword=....&apsauthtype=secEnterprise
