simulate slower PC

Hello,

is it possible with Microsoft Virtual Machine to simulate an older type PC, so with less CPU power and memory....?

It's easy to simulate less memory, as you can allocate how much you want, but simulating a slower processor is a lot harder to do and almost impossible to make it exactly the same.

Virtual PC virtualizes the host PC's processor, so anything that's purely processor oriented is going to execute at the processor's speed.

You may be able to run a utility in the virtual machine that would steal CPU cycles from whatever else you're trying to run, but you could do that on the host as well...
