Hi,

I have quite a few bits of kit that run on kilostream and megastream circuits but I'm looking to test them on the bench rather than hiring an expensive circuit just for my pleasure!

I'm thinking I must be able to use a router with a couple of cards in it to do this? I believe I can't just plug the kit in back to back because I need some kind of timing/clock source so hoping this would be a nice move forward.

So...feasible/idiotic?

Any help greatly appreciated!

You CAN test the serial comms back to back , if you have DCE & DTE cables. Set "clock rate 2048" on the DCE side.

You mean 2048000
