Simple Question

OK I have a customer with a MICS

1 - MICS 0 X 32 Running 7.0 XC Software
2 - DTI Cards Running 2 T-1s
2 - 6 Port Combo Expansion Cartridge ( Used 2 Combo Cards for the DTMF Recivers )
8 - 16 Port Station Modules
3 - Analog Station Modules ( 2 on one Port 1 on own Port )
1 - Call Pilot 150 using 4 Ports
This customer was told by someone ( A Different Vendor )that a Norstar 0 X 32 can only run 110 Phones ( 32 + 128 + 24 = 184 ) and that if you exceed 110 Phones that the system will not operate properly
Will anyone out there like to put ther 2 cents in on this statment. Any input would be greatly Appreciated !!!

I have 4 customers with 6.1 XC - 3 DTIs, Nam, Trunk Mods and remaining Station mods without any problems - total 142 phones

I agree with Fletcher and Perry, as I have always found their info to be correct.

To tell you the truth, I don’t deal with many Norstars that big myself, so I did not want to spout off without knowing for sure....but putting the limit at 110 phones sounds to me like maybe the other vendor was trying to sell them something else.

110 is an incorrect number

what is the calculation 32+128+24 ? (is that the presently working config)

Before 7.0 total of 10 modules + KSU, 2 DTI => 192 stations

From 7.0 12 modules, KSU, 2 DTIs => 224 stations

senk1s, That is the configuration of the system now

32 stations on KSU
128 Stations on 8 Expantion Modules
24 station on analog station modules
=184

The book says 224, personally I've only had one with 160 phones and 2 PRI Circuits.
