SIMPLE next and previous links 1

Hi there, I have a small access 2000 database with a handful of records. I want to display these records one at a time in an asp with next previous buttons at the bottom. I've searched paging tutorials, etc. but they seem overkill for what I'm doing. I just want to display a record and click next to move on to the next one, or previous to go back to the previous one. Any ideas for a simple way to handle this? There is an ID field in the table and I used rs("id")+1, etc in the next link but some of the records have been deleted so they are not in sequential order and I get errors. Many thanks for your thoughts.
