Hi, its been quite a while since i last try to program with dbase 3+

Im trying to build a menu, for example with 5 opcions, that i could scroll up and down with the cursor keys and select them with the ENTER key... but i just cant do it and is driving me NUTS!!! :p

If someone as a clue how to do it.... it would be GREAT!!!

Thanks!!!

It's been a long time since I used dBaseIII but you should look up "menu to" in the help and it will show you exactly how to do a menu.

Don't think you can do this with dBaseIII+, I know dBaseIV supported the DEFINE POPUP, DEFINE BAR, ACTIVATE POPUP syntax, but I don't think dBaseIII+ did this. If it did, I missed it for years and years...... long ago and far away.

Hi Gsmlocks!

Unfortunately there is no "menu to" statement in dbaseIII+. There is also no tool for building menus. What you are looking for is in clipper 87, but you will need compiler and linker too.
