simple folder question

is it possible to have a folder in the web to when it is accessed to get information, the folder or user is really grabbing info from another server on the network... kinda like a folder redirection or some type of folder sharing?

yep, set up a virtual folder and point the home directory to the share name. Make sure the INET_USR account has access rights.

I have never managed to get virtual folder working by using a UNC link ( \\whateverserver\folder ).

I've only been able to do it by creates a mapped drive ( assigning a letter to it) and then creating a virtual directory.

how did u do the map part....
