Simple Folder Chooser Applet

Does anyone know of a simple applet that just chooses folders from a local PC. I am wanting to incorporate it into an "intranet" config file tool (where a user would choose folders on their computer to save to a config file). I don't need the folder contents, just the path.

i.e. C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents

etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you just need the path, I'd consider a simple jsp page rather than an applet: easier to do and no need for signing and all stuff

Dianecht, could you give me an example of a simple jsp page to do that? Also, would that work on IE and Firefox, for Mac and Windows?

I am a PHP guy, I have not messed with java in a long time, so I would appreciate any help.

You may follow the way to get the file path but you should not do the actual uploading of file.
It will be little strange because you need to select a file but the program wants the file path only.
