Hi there,

I already have a report set up in Impromptu with several Report Picklist Prompts. One of those, however, I want to be a cascading prompt. I'm just confused about the order of steps.

I have Report 1 (R1) with everything in it.

I want to be able to select from a table that has, for example:

1
2
3

When I select "1", I want it to then bring up "1A, 1B, 1C" as options for further selection.

I know how to create report picklist prompts and everything, I'd just like to know what order I do things in.

Thanks,

KC

Create a report ReportA

ReportA is a list of
1A
1B
1C
2A
2B
2C
3A....etc

Report A contains Prompt to filter the records you want to show.

Create your main report and add a prompt, make teh type 'Report Picklist' and refernce ReportA.

HTH
