Hi all, first off I've been lurking in this forum for a couple of months, thanks for all the great ideas and information I sincerely appreciate it.

I've done some searching on the following in the forums and can't seem to find anything with the information I'm seeking. I'm missing something and would appreciate if someone could steer me in the right direction.

I have a SS4150 connected to a SX-2000 running 34.2.0.20. I have added a SIM2 module to the 4150. I'd like to use the analog port on the SIM2. I have read that I'm supposed to set this to an "AIM" Port but I can't seem to find anything that refers to this setup. I'm using an OPSMan environment and I've tried through the system directly as well as through OPSMan to add this line and don't seem to be getting anywhere. When I do an ST on that line I get the following:

Location | Device | State | Owner | ID |Status
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
5 1 1 2 1| Superset 4150 | Idle | | |
5 1 1 2 2| Unassigned | Not applicable | | |
5 1 1 2 2| Alternate Codec | Idle | | |
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hopefully I have supplied enough information, but if not please let me know. Thanks for all your help!

I've never set one up personally and I'm a little rusty on the 2K but here goes.

Use the same form you use to define the DNIC port device type as a 4150.

The port will have a primary and secondary device option.

The secondary device would be set up as the AIM device.

I am uncertain but somewhat doubtful that the programming can be done with OpsMan

Ah! I'm apparently hard headed. I was just not going to the right form. I finally found the DNI Config form. I kept insisting it was on the Multiline Set Config form.

Working like a champ now! Thanks for your help!

Thanks for all you guys knowledge!
