Sim Script to scan a QR Code

We are looking to start accepting QR Codes as a form of coupon discount - or special offer within Micros 3700 v4.7+

We have the 2d QR Code readers on order , but Micros has stated that they dont have an API and we would need a SIM script to scan QR codes.

Does anyone have any expertise in creation of a SIM that scans a QR code and associates a discount ? thanks !

Yes, I have done this.

Where are the coupon numbers going to be stored? What scanner are you getting?

Basically, you just need to set the scanner to scan and "enter" the code. The SIM would be programmed to ask for the input and then perform logic to validate the coupon, mark it as used (if desired) and apply the appropriate discount.

There is no need for a sim script to do this. You can print an image using pos configurator.
