I'm looking into purchase a server running Windows 2003 for my small company and I wonder if there are companies that makes silent ones!?

I have previously bought Dell servers and I have been very happy with those, except for the noice! After 15-20 minutes next to such machine you are all brain-dead!

I live in Sweden.

Parts that make a server make noise are: fans and high rpm scsi drives. So it might be a sollution to use a Dell machine and (have it) changed to watercooling and select lower rpm disks.

But it will introduce some extra costs.

Isn't there an option to put the server in a seperate room? Then you can use a tool to manage the server remotely. (such as VNC or TS)
