Hello,
I'm developing a cti solution in a Nortel Meridian environment. The conference is developed but i can't join parties in a conference in silent mode because ctconnect doesn't support that. Why ctconnect support that? Is because Nortel Meridian can't do that? Is because the link can't do that?

Thanks 4 all

Hi dmb,
The unfortunate truth is, Nortel does not support join call through their CTI link. We struggled with this for a while and even enlisted Nortel's crack technical assistance team (at a cost), who reported back;
"Yup, Nortel can't merge calls through CTI, never have, never will!".
Sorry to deliver the bad news,
D

Hello MBX,
Thanks for your answer, but can you give me a url where that is explained?

thanks a lot!!!

Hello PBX,
The Bulletin#1349-G of Meridian 1 TAPI Server (Appendix A) explains about functions supported:
- Make call
- Answer call
- Release call
- Hold call
- Unhold call
- Conference call
- Transfer call
The conference call (join calls) are supported.

Thanks,

dmb
