SILENT install of EPO 1

Hello,

We desperately need to install "ePolicy Orchestrator" SILENTLY on servers.

We couldn't find the solution on the product guide.
We tried many common switches like /s /silent /q /quiet...

Please help !

For ePo Orchestrator, i think it impossible to install it silently.

For the agent :

Document : ePO_350_ProductGuide_EN.pdf, page 74
Title : Agent installation command-line options

/SILENT or /S
Installs the agent in silent mode, which hides the installation interface from the end-user.
Sample : FRAMEPKG /INSTALL=AGENT /SILENT

Actually, I do need to install ePO silently on SERVERS... not the agent !

Yep, that's the command line for installing the ePO management agent on any Wintel platform. Additional command line switches are documented in ePO-350_ProductGuide_EN.pdf beginning on page 73.

So, I really still need my silent install of ePO...

Oh, I get it now....not the agent, you need to install at least the console silently. There's no built-in option for a silent install of ePO application components, and I'm thinking nor should there be--unless you're really good with MSIEXEC transform files, a silent install selects all the default options (target directory, port numbers, etc.) and would almost certainly give you a console install you couldn't use. And you SURE don't want to run a full back-end install with the defaults.
