To reboot the Signaling server manually. Do you just push the RST button on the front of the card?
What happen when you push the RST buttom?
What happen when you push the INT button?

I'm assuming you have a CPPM card. These cards can be either a Call Server or Signal Server. If they are a Signal Server the INI button has no affect. You need to press the RST button the reboot the SS or do it from the command line.

Yes I'm using CPPM card SS. I thought the INI generates reboot of the software and the RST generates a hard reset of the card.
Does the RST do the same as the reboot from the menu. Also is there a LD and a command you can do from a TTY port?

If the CS RED is lit up red then it is also the call server. The RST does generate a hard reset of the card (warm start)and the INI reboots the software.

There isn't a LD you can get in from the call server to reboot the signaling server.

You would need to connect a terminal to the tty cable and login with an account that has pdt and use the proper commands to either INI or RST the card. The commands are the same for the signaling server as for the switch.
