Signaling Server Memory problem 1

I have a ISP1100 Sig Server that has died today. 2 weeks before we replace them in an upgrade to 6.0. I have found that the ram has failed and wondering if of the shelf memory will work. Anybody ever encountered this?

Any RAM as long as same type.

I found 256meg unbuffered ecc pc133 of the shelf that worked great. Less then $100. Distributor wanted $1400 for 4 dimms. Big savings.

I agree. I was able to breath life into some of them here as well. Even internally DIMMs were expensive. It was cheaper by going off the shelf.

Just be careful with any system still on maintenance!

try open a vmware machine with ss software... i made this...its a short time...workarround
