Ok, seriously this is s---ting me :p Recently I got Mandrake 8.2 (and later Rh 7.3) Install CD's. I had no worries with installation (on my P150-49mb), until I accidently cancelled it. I used fdisk to remove all partitioning and fdisk /mbr to clear the boot sector to start with a clean fresh system. I tried to install again (multiple times) and I always get signal 11 terminations. I got another computer P120-32mb and tried installing Rh7.3 on it. No worries. I then cleaned it as above with fdisk, so I could get some key config and rpms I left out the first time, and what do you know, signall 11 teminations all over again. >:/ <-- A Ascii pic of me, tearing my hair out! Both computers have onboard cache, and from some reading on signall 11 I disabled these but It dosent make any difference. My memory settings appear to be intact (the read write times), but maybe the BadRAM kernel patch could help? I am really new to linux, but I have the last few issues of Linux Format (very good read! helpful), and have learnt quite a bit. I run cygwin on this Win98 box with no problems. Can somebody please help me! Thankyou.

UPDATE - Upon advice I used memtest86, and found that my ram on my P120 gave me 848 errors, I replaced it, and now have 0 errors. I still get signal 11! Also I tested my P150, no errors and it also still wont install!
