If I am unable to sign in due to a screen that prompts my password before the actual password sign on. Do I have to reinstall win 2000?? I cannot get past the sign on screen because I have an error saying I need to put in the password and when I do put in my password it says it is incorrect? If anybody knows how to correct this problem w/out having to reinstall, please respond.
P.S. I do not have a boot up disk.

Nigel

It possibly can be a hardware bios signon, nothing to do with W2000. Reboot, go into bios setup and see if you had a password setup.
