I ran into a wierdness I hadn't seen mentioned before. I put a KBA on a 3904 and assigned KEY 33 SIG 3405. When I tested it, the target buzzed just fine - it just wouldn't stop buzzing until I lifted the handset and hung up. This went on for several minutes and then the key started working correctly.
I tried this several times on two 3904 sets and it did the same thing, but only when the key is assigned on the KBA - put SIG on KEY 2 to 11 and it worked without a glitch. Put SIG on KEY 32 to 53 and for the first several minutes the other set would buzz until you lifted the handset. After those first minutes, the key worked correctly (only buzzed while pressed).
Just a heads-up for everyone.
