sig server root and admin2 passwords quit working on rel 7.5

I have a proceedure for resetting the root and nortel passwords for rel 7.0 but the proceedure doesn't seem to work on rel 7.5. Two questions: 1. should it work for the root and admin2 accounts and 2. Is there a new CLI proceedure for rel 7.5 if so wherecan I find it?

Tried the proceedure and get to the Recovery Consle menu, but when I select "@" for password recovery the system returns an error message. something about " / partition" any ideas as to what is going on? I used the "7" for rebooting the system and that worked fine, yes I did remove the DVD from the drive.
