Hi personal, I am manager of systems in Brazil specialist in Siemens and Cisco Systems, in case that they need some information is alone to make a question I have satisfaction in helping.
I hug to all
Hi Dermetz the main modifications of HICOM 330 for HI PATH 4000 are in HW in 330 HICOM the command are DPC5 or DSCX and in 4000 HI PATH the command is DPC5-X100(Hi Path 4500) and DSCX-X100. Sw will need to format the HD to install the version of sw HI PATH 4000 and UNIXWARE 7 or 8.
Thank's Josue
if vc need aid technique help to ask for to me, ok?
There are much more differents between the systems. At first, there are 3 Systems of the Hicom 300 -Family.
Hicom 300 (16 Subscribers on board, no licensing)
Hicom 300 E (24-subscribers on board - most 16-boars will run, licensing)
HiPath 4000 (like 300 E, but new boxes for rack-mounting, new licensing-concept, VoIP-boards, HTML-Assistant for administration)
Not so lararge ar the steps in the small series:
Hicom 150 E
HiPath 3000 (the same like 150, only from version to version more features and special boxes for rack-mounting. The actual version is the 5.0 an the 3700 and the 3750 use the same boxes like 4000 rack-boxes)
From step to step there are more features on every system, so you need to look on the Software-version of an axisting system and a destination system to know the differences. For example Hipath 4000 V 2.0 hase the LargeEnterpriseGatekeeper an a new call-diversion-concept.
The HiPath 4000 can use a distributet hardware via TCP/IP by using IPDA-boxes. In the Version 2.0 the IPDA-boxes can equipped with a emergency-processor and the box will run as a own system if the IP-connection crashes.
You see, I can write line by line and will not find a end.
Hi niels49 nice to meet you.
In the reality our friend Dermetz would like to know the difference between a Hicom 330 and a HiPath 4000 and not all this information talk to you.But thank you for remembering me of these information that I already knew.
Thank You
