sidekick calendar wont be saved for 2010 1

I have been using sidekick 99 up through Windows XP sp3.
When I got to 2010, the old calendar was lost, and new entries can not be saved.

Any one else run into this?

No problem here using W7 & SK98. It works fine. You might try installing SK98. I believe it will accept the data from SK99. I don't recall where, but there was a discussion about returning to SK98 from 99 in this forum.

Now to find a copy of 98. I am sure that mine was thrown out years ago. I assume 98 will be able to read the contact information entered in 99.

If not, or if you know where I can get 98,please let me know.

Dear Golfina,
Check out the following FAQ page for the download,

faq807-3761

Though there is a possibility that the calendfar file is read only and if you save it under another name it may work.
Got to File SaveAs and choose a different name and then see if it works ok.
Yes Sidekick99 Cardfiles can be read perfectly in Sidekick98
