Dear all, we have been fondly and without trouble using Sk98 for decades, always installed under C:\Program Files\Sidekick98.
More recently SK98 ran fine with Win10 under Bootcamp on MacBook. After resetting Win10 and reinstalling SK98, the text in Contact log is still there but invisible - the rest all works beautifully.
We tried resetting fonts under Tools\Preferences\General, starting in various compatibility modes, display resolutions, dpi settings - all to no avail.
In Tools/Preferences/General/Fonts we chose Microsoft Sans Serif size 8 regular, except Card-Content as bold – these are also the settings on my laptop which work fine.
We received a suggestion to delete CNFONT.DAT which was recreated by SK98 but the text in Contact Log remains invisible.
We had also tried reinstalling SK98 in C:\Starfish\Sidekick98 – but it made no difference.
Is there anyone who is so kind to guide us?
