Shutdown Catalyst 6509 PSU remotely

Does anyone know if it's possible to shutdown one of the power supplies in a Catalyst 6509 running CatOS 6.4 from the CLI? I
looked at the "set module power down" command but it doesn't look like that will work.

None that I know of, specially for old catos.

you just power the switch off. There is no way to shut the switch down at the command line.
