I remember using a Feature Code (CICS/MICS) that would, as people completed their calls, prevent anyone from initiating a new call until the system was re-started. This allowed a technician, working in a busy office, the ability to shut-down the system without having to wait and run around telling everyone not to make another call. Upon all calls being completed, technician could shut-down and swap/add new cards, etc. without having to interrupt any calls.

I've checked my documentation and cannot for the life of me find that code.

Anyone?

Thanks in advance,

I don`t know any for MICS or CICS. I know the Nam is F915 access2. U can shut down NAM that way

only the voicemail(NAM) has a graceful shutdown option ... wait for active calls to finish adn then automatically shutdown

feature 610 : pls dont use the phone ... as it is under maintenance is what i do

My other method is.... pull the plug and then says "Oops, Sorry

This is probably what your looking for.
Go to maintenance --> Diagnostic Tools --> System Restart
