Shrinking story problem...

I Produce a small weekly paper in PM6.5, upon upgrading the computers I did a fresh install of PM6.5 Now when I adjust the font size by editing the whole story’s character attributes, the story shrinks up to a page rather than just half a column like it used to. What am I missing?

Any help would be MUCH appreciated

Hello,
Check the compose to printer setting in the file/doc. setup.
Having a different printer selected or if a ? appears in this box will cause the text to reflow differently.
