showing "SSID not broadcast" on his laptop at this time. Currently, he's not using wireless at all, he's connected via cable. This has been happening since the laptop was brought home over the weekend to do some work at home.
Any ideas would be great.
Thanks

So whats the problem?

If you want wireless go into network properties and enable thw wireless adapter.

If what rphips suggest does not work, make sure that the wireless network you are trying to connect is broadcasting it's SSID. If it isn't, then you might have to go into the router and select the option to do so. If you do not want the SSID broadcasting, then go into the router and get the SSID so that you can manually connect to the router.
