I installed Windows 2000 Advanced Server and all the service packs on Intel server motherboard SE7501CW2 with dual Xeon CPU 3 GHz and four 2GB RAMs. I thought it should show me 8GB in RAM from system properties but it only shows 4 GB now. I know standard Windows 2000 will support up to 4 GB, and advanced Windows 2000 server should support up to 8 GB accooding to Microsoft specification. Why it is just showing 4 Gb now? Does anybody have a clue? Any suggestion and help will be greatly appreciated.

The OS will only allow you to use 4GB's of RAM natively. If you have more then 4GB's of RAM, you need to use the /PAE switch in your Boot.ini

Here's how:
