Showing fields on a tab within a form

Hello,
I am looking for some help in hiding fields that reside on a tab within a form. I would like the fields to be visible only when the tab is clicked on. Currently, the fields "bleed" through to other tabs. Is there a property setting that I am missing on the individual fields? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds a bit like the controls are underneath the tab control, rather than on it.
