I've been trying to set up my security in an Access 2000 program that's attached to SQL Server 7. I've created the NT login for the user and set permissions for that user but they still have complete access to the database. How can I set up something in my access program to show me what user is being mapped to the login.I feel that it's still using an administration account no matter who logs into the machine.

Thank you HTH,

I appreciate your help but could you give me a little more information. I'll explain a little more what I'm doing. I want a form that I have created in Access 2000 to open and , depending on who the user is, set the form specifically for that user. I was thinking of using VBA to set a variable equal to the system user during the OnOpen Event and then using If..Else statements to set certain functions on the form. If I'm going about this the hard way I would except any guidance or opinions.

Thanks again,
Jeff
