Show/Hide does NOT disable TAB arrows

Windows XP SP2
MS Word2003 SP2

End user has turned on and off Show/Hide but it will not turn off the arrows that a TAB creates. It does turn off page returns and whatnot, just not TABS. Any idea how to remedy this without reinstalling Office.

Nevermind, I found it under Tools/Options..

Under the tools menu select options

then on the view tab

the second area is for Formatting Marks, make sure this is set to ALL or you can select if you only want to see spaces, enters, etc
